Our Aim
Our aim is to provide the best possible start to each child’s educational and personal development journey. Our nursery caters for children from 6 weeks to 5 years. We truly appreciate how formative and influential the early years are and want to be a big part of the process of helping develop your child into a confident, inquisitive, happy individual. We promote individuality, self-expression and learning in a safe & fun environment. Even at this young age we believe that skills, qualities and talents that will last a lifetime begin to surface and we promise to identify and help to promote these in the best way possible. Together we can give children the opportunity to maximise their full potential and ensure that they are ready to make their mark in the big wide world!
We strive to be the very best nursery for your child, so we will ensure that every visit to our establishment will be a fun and memorable experience. We fully embrace EYFS and will ensure each child will have every opportunity to access high-quality plan experiences to extend and further their learning in both prime and specific areas.
Our 4 beautifully decorated rooms are spacious and extremely comfortable. Each room is equipped with age appropriate toys and resources; children can participate in a range of activities, which enhances their learning through play. Our children also have full access to our large indoor soft play area.
Our goal is to ensure that every child reaches their full potential. Each child’s needs and interests are different, so we’ve developed a progressive curriculum that is equally unique and bespoke to each child.
We want to ignite a lifelong love of learning in every child at Once Upon A Time Daycare, we do this through a gentle balance of free play and structured learning experiences.

Our Team
We have a very carefully crafted team of child care practitioners who create engaging environment where children can flourish. All staff are qualified to minimum of level 3, please visit our Meet the Team page for more information. Each child will be given a key worker, who will be responsible for their personal learning and development and will support your child on their journey with us. Carefully planned activities and experiences will be specifically designed to ensure your child is making progress and learning lots of new skills as well as lots of fun!
What Our Parents Say
Such a wonderful nursery, our little guy has been going here since he was 10 months old. They have the most amazing baby room I have ever seen and he has loved progressing through under the sea and soon heading to the next room. Transitions are well planned, communication is excellent, excellent catering to allergies, and the staff are warm, welcoming and fun.
